I like your thinking on this. Regeneration and relationships go together. I often think of moving from dependence to interdependence. Regenerative gardens must be more than a collection of individual plants. Real regeneration happens only when life forms interact with each other capturing energy from the sun and nutrients from soil and water. God has given us sun, soil, water -- and life.

Beautifully put, and a very good point about the move from dependence to interdependence as a cornerstone of regenerative gardening and living. It seems like seeing and optimising relationships has fallen by the wayside as we’ve broken the world down into scientifically analysed blocks, smaller and smaller. Funny how that has mirrored the breakdown of community into individual households, commons into private ownership, and even family units into parents and children only.

Yes. We've created a built world that has many benefits--but also consequences. We have insulated ourselves from each other and our natural habitat. One consequence is disconnection. It is imperative for our health and well-being to reestablish connections.
